The CLPR has a number of resources that are available online, from periodicals to working papers. In addition, CLPR's publications include an occasional Working Paper and Policy Profile Series, and, most recently, the publication of CLPR Graduate Student Research Briefs. These are available here, at the eScholarship Repository of the California Digital Library. Our bi-annual newsletter, Enfoque!, is a primary source of information concerning grants, fellowships, awards, contests, and current research updates sponsored by CLPR. This publication is shared with our on- and off-campus mailing list and with many colleagues and friends throughout the country. CLPR publications will soon be available online through the California Digital Library’s eScholarship program. For paper copies of some publications, contact us at clpr@berkeley.edu. Consistent with our mission of sponsoring research efforts that have a direct policy impact on the Latino / Chicano population in the United States, the CLPR will be re-establishing its Working Paper Series. We invite U.C. Berkeley faculty, graduate, and undergraduate students to submit working papers with a public policy focus on issues pertaining to the Latino community. The working papers published in the Series constitute work in progress circulated to stimulate discussion and critical comments. In the past we have accepted papers on the issues of immigration, labor, health, and education. All working papers will be published on the eScholarship Repository of the California Digital Library. We seek papers in length of 20 to 40 pages not including a bibliography. The complete style sheet can be downloaded here. Papers may be submitted for consideration year-round. Contact the CLPR for further information. CLPR working papers are available for downloading at: http://repositories.cdlib.org/issc/clpr/wp/ |
